Kyle Bulmer

My name is Kyle Bulmer, and I was born and raised in Douglas County, Kansas and still live with my family in Lawrence.   Being raised in Lawrence lead me to my first love in life, Kansas Basketball.  I was active in all sports growing up, but quickly realized my height gave me an extreme advantage and basketball was my favorite.  Unfortunately Roy Williams never ended up calling for a scholarship (or at all for that matter), so cheering on the Jayhawks was the only way I could help.

I was raised in a family with law enforcement and firefighting ties which lead me to a 21 year career in law enforcement.  Unfortunately, an injury sustained on the job ultimately left me retiring early from law enforcement career.  The ability to help other has definitely changed, but I'm fortunate to still be able to help in some fashion.  

Being such a KU fanatic, it was quite odd for me to want to go to Kansas State University to complete their radon measurement and mitigation course.  My desire to help also translates into me wanting to be as knowledgeable and professional as I can with everything I do.  As Kansans, we are extremely fortunate to have one of the premier radon programs in the nation right at Kansas State University.  

After completing the courses at Kansas State, I had some friends in need of radon mitigation after a test revealed high levels, and the rest is history.  If I'm installing simple systems or designing systems hidden from the exterior I always enjoy the challenge of making things look at good as they possibly can.
